Shawnigan House Coffee & Chocolate

Great coffee, which in a way isn't that hard to do. Distinguishing your coffee place from others in the area is a little harder, and the Shawnigan house has conquered that with their gorgeous in-house chocolates and sweets. We had something similar to that pictured above--a beautiful afternoon break from wine-tasting.

The coffee house is small but has excellent seating outside that has totally been redone this summer. Some of the best coffee drinks I have had. If you love a great chocolate with your coffee this place is a must. Amazing assortment and quality. And for those not so inclined there is an incredible bakery next door. AND both are locally owned and operated.

I was only in Shawnigan Lake for a short time, but I had a great experience at this cozy village coffee shop. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. We sat outside in the sun, but there were also a few tables available inside. The coffee and snacks were delicious.

Great coffee, delicious chocolates, friendly staff, nice surroundings, share their space with a bakery next door. What could go wrong.
