Tanveer's Curry Hut - Milford

Arrived without a booking, a fairly slow in house service but busy with take away.Family of four we ordered 1 serve of Chicken Pakora, 6 pieces to a serve but 8 pieces generously arrived. The Butter Chicken excellent, Lamb Korma

We have had takeaway from here a couple of times since moving to the area, and on both occasions have found the staff unfriendly and lacking in understanding of English. The food has been average, we have had better Indian food in even smaller towns in the past. The Butter chicken was okay but had a very thin sauce; as the sauces were on both the dishes we had last time. The sheek kebab is very poor - dried up and an extremely small portion with next to no sauce. a waste of money. The naan bread is average.

I was in a group of three people who ordered different main courses. Each of us described their meal as delicious and generous. I had beef korma and, while it could have been a little spicier and sweeter, the meal was still delicious.

Beautifully prepared sauces, luscious tender meats and fresh spices make for wonderful food. Try Tanveers special chicken curry. The restaurant is a little café-ish. If it were a bit more stylish, would get 5 stars.

Wife and I have eaten here on several occasions. The restaurant is not overly flash but it is clean and tidy. The food however is very authentic and always delicious.We often get take away, as this service is available. The staff are friendly and always accommodating, so when in Boonah and you're looking for a pleasant meal give this a go I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.
