Friendly service, simple menu done well. Medium spicy almost took me out but I made it

I recently visited Haven Hot Chicken in Connecticut with high expectations, but unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. The food was excessively oily, making it difficult to enjoy. The lack of seasoning and flavor was surprising and left much to be desired. I had hoped for bold, well-balanced flavors, but instead, the chicken was bland and unappetizing. Moreover, the chicken tasted stale, as if it had been prepared much earlier and not freshly made. Freshness and quality are crucial, especially for a specialty dish like hot chicken, and this was noticeably lacking. I hope that Haven Hot Chicken takes this feedback seriously and makes the necessary improvements. As it stands, I cannot recommend this establishment based on my recent visit.

I got take out and got THE sandwich for the hot head and loved it! It was so delicious and spicy I almost forgot what true spice was until I ate it.

I love Haven Chicken in Orange. Food is always fresh and service. Employee's are very nice and helpful. Especially Emaree; super nice girl always friendly!
