Red Heat Tavern Of Milford

The food here is always reliably spectacular in the few times I was here. The atmosphere is also excellent with a very funny and lively Tavern setting, and the place is always decently clean and well maintained. Although the reason I give only 4/5 stars is because of the consistently slower than average service, even in non-speaking times. Besides a few slightly negative experiences with waiting staff; While I took pictures for this review I made my waitress jokes about me taking photos from my food to her staff; TL;DR: The food is good, the atmosphere is cool, but the service is definitely a little under-par. I would definitely recommend 110 grill over this place if you can afford the extra bit for the food there.

Delicious dinner! Very recommend the Buffalo sauce; it was spicy with a lil sweet. I never tasted such a buffalo sauce. The honey mustard chicken package was delicious, and the frits were perfectly salted. Onion rings were very crispy and not too greasy. The reuben was huge! Yummy, freshly cooked options with sports on TVs inside and a spacious terrace outside. Many gluten-free options, and vegan/ vegetarian choices also. My father pulled pork Mac and cheese was also incredible, he said. The homemade vegetable burger was delicious!!!! Great portions too.

Mike, our server was spectacular. He noticed my eye contact every time I needed something. He also fired everything at the correct times. The food was tasty. Do yourself a favor and get the wings. There is no need to ask for them extra crispy, because that is how they are served. The steak tips are amazing, but my suggestion to the restaurant is to make the chef temp them. They we a tiny bit over medium rare. I'll be back.
