Mr Macs Canteen - Milford

This has become my new favorite restaurant! The prices are reasonable, the food is amazing, and the service is quick. I'm quite particular about my breakfast sandwich— I ask for the bread to be grilled, no egg, one slice of cheese, and for it not to be cut. They always accommodate my requests without any hassle. As for my Patty Melt, I prefer it cut, and it’s just the right amount of greasy, cheesy goodness. They even know my order by the time I reach the counter. I really appreciate their patience with me. Mr. MACS is definitely a must-visit!

The Classic Hot Dog and Hamburger Joint is a fantastic spot! On my first visit, I enjoyed a delicious Bacon Chili Cheese Dog loaded with toppings. The condiments were noticeably fresh, the bun was great, and the bacon was perfectly cooked—not overdone like at some places. The service was incredibly fast, and the staff at the counter clearly know what they're doing. The menu offers a wide variety of options. Plus, there's convenient and secure parking, and the restaurant is very clean both inside and out.

The prices are fantastic, but I recommend avoiding the fried scallops. They’re about the size of small grapes and are mostly covered in soggy breading. They taste like they’ve been frozen beforehand and lack flavor. My friend ordered a fish sandwich and fries, which were obviously the better option! I’d be willing to return and give the burgers, hot dogs, or breakfast sandwiches a try.

Favorite spot for a delicious breakfast sandwich. The Portuguese rolls are a nice touch and I always add a topper (hash brown) and the spicy chilly for a perfect morning treat. Can’t go wrong with the burgers or chili dogs either!

I've been here many times...the food is always great, and the prices are reasonable. I'll definitely be going back soon!
