Pasticceria Ungaro - Milano

It is a very nice coffee shop. It has many kinds of sweets and cakes. With a good atmosphere and nice and friendly staff. Places for sitting are enough. Good place for having breakfast and aperitivo.

Went there to have a coffee and gelato. After order we tried to pay first, however, they refused to accept payment saying that you pay after(that was weird . After we finished, we went to pay and price of gelato was twice bigger than expected.Their explanation was that the gelato they put in terrace is bigger, what they didn’t warned us about is the fact that the gelato was going to be double in price as the one that we initially ordered (3€ /6€ . In general,she was a bit rude to us, specially when we asked (always in Italian for an explanation. And made me wait for quite a long time when I was standing in front of the cash register, she was sorting out the bills for a few minutes and talked to another customer and employees.

Quite overpriced compared to the average standard. Even more beyond decency the treat my friend and I were deserved with, down to payment; we were supposed to get charged with the cost of 1 aperitive 1 coke, yet the cashier set us back eventually twice the price of an aperitive. Pretty sure an average bar wouldn't bang 8€ a single coke (no aperitive)... Aggro!
