Gelateria Etnica - Milano

I wanted to try this gelateria for particular tastes, some fruits I had never even heard of them. The idea of trying so strange tastes I really like, but ice cream is not special, it’s a little taste dish and all tastes tried were similar.

I met this ice cream shop randomly passing viale Monza. It is very different from the others, with a wide choice of exotic tastes and also the possibility to taste Asian sweets. I ate halo halo a typical Filipino dessert consisting of crushed ice, condensed milk, fruit jelly, corn and sweet beans all completed with an ice cream ball. A mix of unique colors and flavors! Unlike other ice cream shops there are many tables where you can sit just because it is also a bar. Also you can drink the bubble tea an Asian drink based on tea, milk and tapioca pearls which is having wide spread. I find it as an alternative, light and refreshing drink suitable for any season also because it should not be drunk by cold force.

Clean but not captivating place, this Gelateria proves to have had an intelligent and interesting idea. There are tastes from 5 continents and it is worth tasting without fears. Ice cream is good and not particularly sweet....what I prefer. It is managed by a very friendly and kind oriental lord. It's also a bar.

Choice of classic and exotic tastes, non-exorbitant prices, quite spacious room with large tables also for families. There's probably better around, but I probably don't care.

A little spartan gelateria, which offers several tastes a little unusual to find in other ice cream shops, and ice cream not bad. Price a little lower than the Milanese average.
