Wide selection of sandwiches (also other dishes anyway of good quality. Service is fast yet attentive. Quite good for a brief interrupt from shopping, which you can continue in the same building (La Rinascente, look for sales, otherwise rather pricey! . Visit the terrace with a nice view on the Duomo

While shopping at La Rinascente, we had a quick lunch at De Santis. It is a bar on the top floor of the store. The menu included a spread of sandwiches, salads and desserts. Wine was also available. I chose a sandwich called Rinascente with roast beef, cheese and fresh tomatoes. For dessert I had a tart topped with fresh berries. Food was good, especially the cake, and the prices reasonable. Service was quick.

It is something you'll find everywhere, normal food, like Italian mums and grannies do, and here the variety of choice is just great, and taste perfect.

I am very pleased with my experience in this room, super friendly and kind staff. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to eat and drink a nice coffee in tranquility!
