Sylvestre - Miguel Hidalgo

A blend of Argentina and Mexico. The decor is inviting and you feel at home. A well-stocked bar and a relatively wide wine list. Sweetbreads and Chinchulines well prepared. The rest is superb and the service properly mannered. Worth trying.

What an awesome place. The house it is located at was built for Mexican legend and actress María Félix. It has been transformed into a beautiful restaurant with several rooms all connected to create an elegant place. It’s two bars are made with large tree logs adding a unique touch. It has an elevator for those with limited mobility. We tried the Kobe beef. It was a delight. The place is pricy but it is worth every penny.

This is the second time I visit this restaurant and the experiences was very good both times with excellent food and service. The first time (business lunch we ordered various meat dishes to share and this time (private lunch we ordered fish and shrimps dishes all very good quality and preparation.

We had multiple tacos for lunch and could not stop ordering them. All of them were delicious. Service was perfect. We also enjoyed good Spanish wine by the glass.
