El Farol Mexican - Midvale

I came here one night for dinner with my dad. The food was absolutely delicious!! Very tasty and filling. The chips were really yummy too. The salsa was good but very watery. The service could have been a bit better as well. Other than that, my dad and I enjoyed our food a lot. Also, this place is cash only so be sure to have cash on you when you go!

This place is a hidden gem. The carne asada is real carne asada. Not too sure about the carnitas but everything else was delicious. The thing that separates this place is the customer service. Spot on with everything throughout dinner service. They brought stuff out without us even having to ask. That?s a 10/10 in my book.

I cannot understand how this place has a rating of 4.1, as it was really terrible. It was the worst Mexican food I have ever had. My mother-in-law recommended this place because she had a good taco salad before, so we decided to give it a try. However, the food was so bad that even she admitted it wasn't the same as her last visit. We paid $10 for some rice and a basic cheese quesadilla that you could easily make at home. Our total bill came to $71, and the taco salad was just a mix of old bagged lettuce, strange ground beef, and two slices of tomatoes. It was truly awful. The chips and salsa seemed like they were store-bought, just like everything else at this restaurant.

Amazing!... Parking: Located directly in front of the restaurant with around 30 available spaces, all free of charge. Kid-friendly: Lots of children and families enjoying themselves together. Wheelchair accessible: ADA approved.

My family has been celebrating at this restaurant for as long as I can remember! The Bean Dip and the Mexican Plate are absolutely delicious!!!! This time, Lolita, the owner, reached out to confirm our reservations and see if we had any special requests. She was incredibly kind and accommodating. When we arrived for our party, we had the back room all to ourselves, which was perfect because we tend to get a little loud when we're all together. Our server (I can't recall his name, unfortunately) was wonderful, and despite some mix-ups with our orders, he quickly corrected them without any issues. We will definitely be returning!
