El Guapo - Midlothian

This is some of the best food I’ve ever had! The meat in the birria tacos was incredibly tender, and the sauce was just right. The churros were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I’ll definitely be coming back regularly!

Absolutely delicious and exceeded all my expectations. This little gem of a taco shop, though tucked away, is outstanding. It’s a simple process—just order at the counter and you’re set. I tried the Tacos de Birria and was genuinely impressed. The tortilla was perfectly crispy, the meat was tender, and it was topped just right, even including radishes. It’s served authentically with the consommé on the side. I will definitely be returning for more! These tacos are genuinely cinematic, and the service is incredibly fast. They have an authentic flavor, and I honestly want to try everything on the menu.

A food truck visited my workplace, and I was thrilled to find they had a veggie quesadilla with vegan cheese on the menu. To say I was impressed would be an understatement—it was absolutely fantastic! The broccoli, zucchini, squash, and cheese were all cooked to perfection and seasoned beautifully. I took a while to snap a photo because I couldn't resist digging in; it was just too delicious!

Don't know why it's taken me so long to write this review, but here we are. Back in May my husband and I hired El Guapo to serve food at our wedding. The food was amazing and Javier was great to work with. I still have people telling me how good the food was 5 months later! Best choice we ever made!

Excellent tacos at a reasonable price! I enjoyed 2 birria and 2 al pastor tacos this evening and will definitely be back. The birria were especially delicious. Very easy access and friendly staff. Great local spot!
