Elginhaugh Farm - Midlothian

This was possibly the worst experience I have ever had. Food was awful and service was even worse. If I had a tip for anyone it would be go to the Melville across the road instead. If I could give it no stars I would.

Busy night last night when we arrived, all staff working hard. We had a great time, lots to choose from on the menu. My meal was cold however the blonde manger sorted it straight away and it was lovely the second time round. Nothing seems to be a bother here. Great service and environment. We all got Scoops of ice cream to go as well

Our classic car club started an event on morning 24th September. Some 30 crews (60 people) enjoyed breakfast before we started. Great choice of menu from 'full Scottish ' to lighter continental, tea and coffee. Duty Manager Rachel provided an area for our crews to prepare for our event while enjoying breakfast. Good food, great service, and lots of parking for the traveller. Definite recommend stop for a meal if your passing.

The food was so good and was brought out to us so fast. We had amazing service from a young girl who very helpful and offered us dessert. Cant wait to come back and eat here again.

Last two times veg has been hard. Cauliflower tasted off. Beef tasteless. Not sure if change of supplier or chefs but definitely not as good as it used to be
