The Courtyard Midleton

We have dined at this restaurant three times and have found our experience to be mediocre at best. The food quality is inconsistent and it is somewhat overpriced.

The Courtyard Restaurant located in Ferns Co. Wexford have been serving consistently good food for many years whither it be for lunch in the bar or in the restaurant in the evenings. It has a very pleasant restaurant available and suitable for medium to large groups or a function room for the larger groups. It has a small private function room for small groups of up to 20 also.

Myself and my daughter popped in today for a bite to eat on our way home from the beach, first impression was this was a lovely spot and very clean. We ordered a big lunch and as we were waiting for our food I noticed a man in the corner looking at my 11 year old daughter as we waited he continued to stare over at her to the point that she asked me why the man was looking at he. I approached the barman/waiter and explained that we felt very uncomfortable and wanted to move tables he was very unhelpful and more or less grunted at my complaint, I ended up moving all our food and drink on my own. Needless to say I won't be returning

Pleasant atmosphere in a busy restaurant. Good service and good food. The quality of the meat in my main course was superb.

My husband and I arrived late on a Saturday evening and were given a choice of seats. The staff were friendly and the service was excellent. The chowder was delicious with copious chunks of fish. The place is nicely decorated, the tables are not on top of one another and the manager was very pleasant.
