Grand Traverse Pie Company - Midland

So far I' ve only had the banana cream cheesecake. Priced very well and very delicious. Happy that I could have it since I have a nut allergy.

I purchased a Grand Traverse Blueberry Pie from Kroger. At $19.99 and with an attractive graphic box, I had high expectations for this cake. Unfortunately, I was let down. The blueberry filling was dry and the crust was soggy. The cake was stuck to the box and when I was finally able to remove it, I found that filling had leaked onto the box. It seemed to be overcooked and was dripping around the edges. It's possible that it was placed into the box too quickly after baking.

I tried the three combo of homemade pot pies at this restaurant and it was delicious! The apple crumb pie was especially excellent. I drove through town just to try this place and it was definitely worth it.

If you haven't tried the Blueberry Lemon Silk pie at GTPC, you are seriously missing out! It is like a heavenly experience, with the perfect combination of blueberry and lemon flavors that melt in your mouth like a dream. You must try it!

The food was delicious, but the young girl at the cash register seemed disinterested in serving me. It felt like I was inconveniencing her. According to the receipt, her name was Alesha L. I will wait for another staff member to take my order next time.
