Big E's Sports Grill - Midland

I typically don't write reviews, but I feel compelled to share that our dining experience wouldn't have been as enjoyable without our server, Wendy. She was very attentive to all of our needs. Thank you, Wendy.

My husband and I have always left your restaurant feeling happy, full, and entertained. We love the TVs and watching sports. The wait staff has been amazing. Thank you!

I visited your restaurant last week primarily because I had heard that you serve the best wings in town. However, I was disappointed to find that the wings were overcooked and dry. The service from your wait staff was also lacking, with repeated no shows and slow service even when the number of customers had decreased. I chose not to complain about the food or service at the time, but I made it clear on the credit slip that I would not be leaving a tip. This experience has led me to decide that I will not be returning to Big E's, and I have been advising others in Midland to reconsider dining there. This type of service is unacceptable.

Had the worst service ever, the waiter BOY #713 Nicholas, Dec 29'13, 03:19pm, was horrible, waited on everyone else besides me, never checked on how my food was, had to ask the manager for BBQ sauce and when I asked for the bill, again, he waited on everyone else. After 25 minutes of waiting to get the bill I had to wave the bill in front of his face to pay, he was 5 feet from me, he took it, made change and tossed the folder back onto the table. I will encourage my family never to go there again. Too bad too because I love to watch sports! If Nicholas doesn't like his job maybe he should look elsewhere (dishwasher). Midland has gone to the dogs, it used to be some place to be proud to be from. What a shame!

The food at this restaurant is fantastic. They have a great selection of fun drinks and TVs all around, making it the perfect spot for game days. I highly recommend trying the Pizza Pinwheels as an appetizer. Their Club Sandwiches and Pulled Pork Sandwiches are also delicious. Don't miss out on their amazing onion rings! Everything I've tried has been tasty and I can't wait to go back for more. I visited again today and had the most delicious dessert ever - the warm Apple Crisp with Vanilla ice cream and Caramel sauce. It's the ultimate comfort food and definitely the best dessert I've ever had.
