The Swire Inn - Middletown

The food was late. We assumed to visit the show over the street and on time. There were 4 of us. Two people first got food. Other two people with us had to wait for their escapes. On the menu it said that the salmon came with asparagus. My friend and I ordered salmon. I got asparagus. She got green beans instead. All in all, no good experience.

Great dinner before a show at The Sorg. The Shepherds Pie was delicious!

Staff is very friendly. The seasonal drinks are delicious

We normally love the swire inn.We had a reservation for 8:30 pm for Valentine’s Day to get their special prime rib dinner.Got a call at 8:15pm to inform us that they were out of food, except for pretzel bites or wings. We were expecting a prime rib or salmon dinner. This left us having to find somewhere to go at the time we should have been at the restaurant. Very disappointing that they didn’t prepare correctly for the amount of reservations they booked or let us know sooner so we could make other arrangements in a timely manner. Do not recommend if you need later reservations, go early in the day so they still have their offerings or go somewhere else.

Very nice dining experience. Enjoy the variety of their selections. All 4 of us had different Selections on our dinner choices . from the Ruben to the sausage and the pork medallions and the salmon. Everything was delicious.
