San Cristobal - Middletown

I really enjoy the food here! The shrimp ceviche is my favorite—it's delicious and consistently good, unlike other places in town. The chicken chimichanga is fantastic, and their tamarind water has a wonderful flavor. I only wish they offered delivery since I don't drive.

Thanks to Covid-19, I suppose, the small dining room was nearly empty for a Saturday noon. We ordered the house steak with soft tortillas and a cactus salad. As we waited, we were served some chips and salsa, which added to the welcome atmosphere. It felt cozy and homey, just like the food itself. Although the after-lunch coffee was somewhat disappointing, the bill was reasonable. If you’re in the area, be sure to stop by!

The food is good, and the drinks are just okay. It's a nice spot that tends to be fairly busy, even though the menu is a bit overpriced compared to other local restaurants. The cocktails are average at best.

The food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was really cozy. Our server was exceptionally patient and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place!
