Portofino Bar Grille - Middletown

My husband and I celebrated our 20. Anniversary. Except a few people at the bar, we were the only 2 restaurants. The food was absolutely wonderful and the staff was very friendly. In honor of our anniversary, Omar sent us a chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream and fresh strawberries. We've known Omar for a few years while he was running North End Steakhouse. He does an excellent job and follows his dream. I highly recommend this place. Good luck, Omar!! Live the dream!!

Great place, lots of food, drinks, apps. Great staff... The prices are great.

Outstanding menu, lots of choices.Delicious entrees, food well prepared, moderate prices. Senior friendly, comfortable seating, early bird dinners, efficient friendly staff. Only 10 min away from downtown Newport. Have dined there many times in last 3 months with friends who also give staff food high marks. Take tip from a local.!!

This restaurant consistently serves good food, and the staff are very friendly and helpful when needed. While it doesn't stand out too much from other restaurants in the area, if you want consistent and reliable dinners, I do recommend visiting this establishment

Loved the baked filled shrimps here better than Anthonys and no long line. People serve you, unlike Anthonys who remind me of the Teerosa, fish instead of steak.
