The Green Man - Middleton

Very clean , good device with a smile . Some tables can feel a little dark but that’s being picky . Lovely garden for sitting outside if the weather is right . Portions could be a bit more manly on some dishes but a firm favourite for me

Lovely pub in a great setting serving well above your standard pub food. The kitchen staff clearly make an effort with nicely presented dishes and an interesting and varied menu. Waiting staff were friendly and attentive.

You can’t fault the food here. The choice is great and it’s all lovely. We were lucky enough to be able to sit outside in the sunshine so the setting was perfect too. There was a big back log in the kitchen hence the slight mark down for service but we stuck with it and felt it was worth the wait.

My experience at the Green Man for Sunday lunch was delightful. The food was expertly prepared and beautifully plated, and our waitress was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. I look forward to returning soon. - Pauline Hartland
