Thai Bites - Middlesbrough

I was recommended this restaurant by a local coworker since I am from out of town. When I arrived, I was greeted by an angry and rude chef. I was spoken to very brusquely and told to wait outside in my car, which was understandable due to Covid restrictions. I waited 40 minutes for my food, which turned out to taste like a Chinese sweet and sour dish instead of the pad Thai I had ordered. Overall, the experience was horrendous.

I'm not sure what was worse, the food or the service. We waited forever, and I can confirm that the only party happening was in the bathroom 15 minutes after we finished our meal.

I highly recommend Thai Bites for their fantastic food made fresh to order by welcoming and friendly staff. It's a real shame that they don't serve in the evenings.

First time trying thai food today, just got home with it and it's absolutely amazing, bought a pad thai, reasonably cheap for how tasty the food is, and the women who work there are lovely too! :

My mother used to love this place, I always loved surpassing her with the beef and black bean. Food is really nice and well priced
