Chinese Chop Suey House - Middlesbrough

We've been ordering for a number of years. Our whole family also. Food is always hot.,tasty and fresh. Our usual go to is chicken fried rice, foo young and sweet and sour Cantonese style and lemon chicken always delicious. Last night tried the barbecue pork szechuan it was gorgeous. Their prawn crackers always taste crispy and fresh too. Sometimes forget to review local places but wanted to say thankyou.

Ordered BBQ Spare ribs,Szechuan King Prawn,and BBQ Pork with mushrooms.Spare ribs were tough and chewy,and mostly fat,in a very tasteless BBQ sauce.The Szechuan prawns (7 of them! ,were in a weak sauce,mostly filled with vegetables.I thought Szechuan had a bit of a bite to it?The BBQ Pork,well much the same;fatty pork (bar-b-cued? ,in a weak,tasteless sauce,filled out with slimy mushrooms and onions! Not a good experience in the least! Why do we put up with being served such poor quality food by these takeaways?Chinese food it is not! Only thing good:prompt delivery!

Good food friendly service .Never disappointed over the past 12 months . Usually busy which is always a good sign.

Absolutely amazing! we have recently moved from woodley to read and this Chinese is amazing. faster service and delicious eating, for the first time I have ever asked for crispy bark meat and actually get crispy bark! not a soggy chaos, and the curry sauce is amazing! highly recommended, I and my family will be back
