Consistent excellent house cooked meals at a great price. nice friendly staff at a deposit. easy to park. we can't wait to go back....so recomend the leber and wobble. mr. and mrs. gordon. redcar.

Plenty of Lovely tasting and well cooked food excellent service in a nice relaxed atmosphere... nobody trying to rush you....and the lager tasted good... really couldn't fault the place or the staff

My hubby and I and our big dog Gracie have just had the most fantastic home cooked Sunday Roast you could wish for, Not only that we had the great pleasure of sitting with such a lovely lady and gentleman whose name is Alan, We're up here on our holiday and honestly their Hospitality was top quality, as was the lovely ladies who were behind the bar and the local people Were just as friendly, we will make this area our second home and The Black Swan in Kirkby, Cleveland our local, again thank you for your kindness and gorgeous food Sue and Stuart Cowie

We were staying on holiday in the area and after reading reviews decided to book this pub/restaurant for Sunday Lunch. We arrived early, and decided to sit outside due to the nice weather and this was no problem to the pub. Service was fantastic and very friendly staff. I don't know where to start for the Sunday Lunch, we got mixed meat and the portion sizes were huge!!! Sunday roast was all home-made and was honestly one of the nicest meals out I've had in a while. They even boxed up our puddings as we were so full, fabulous service. I would 100% recommend! Thank you very much, we will definitely return when back in the area.
