Meet Me Here Restaurant And Bar

When my wife and I came here from Meet Me, we tried to find out what was different one night. (No TV). If you want quiet time with exceptional food, this is the place. We have often gone back and there are a few things that emphasize it. If you share a plate, it comes from the kitchen with two fantastic presentations. I want a cocktail over the top cocktail. If you want to order their best dinner Shrimp and Scallop Florentine. The staff is very attentive (but not overboard) and the owner creates a fantastic atmosphere for the quests and the staff.

I give it 5 stars, it was a nice restaurant to visit for a first time. The waitress Chrissy was very nice and plight.

Meet Me Here Restaurant in Middlebury was NOTHING, if not FENOMENAL! Try'n GET there by Sun., 10/25, 2 take advantage of their $20.20 FAB Salad, Entree Yummy Carrot Cake Special, grab their $10/Btl of Wine 2 Round Out the Whole Xperience! Hint, the Chicken Milanese was 2 DIE 4, tho' the Short Rib Surprise sure made it a Tuff Decision 2 make!!!

I have no idea how this restaurant received so many good reviews. The food was simply mediocre at exceptional food prices. We literally had to spit out the raw oysters and had stomach issues the next morning. The pork chop was overcooked and therefore dry, probably because they butterflied it (like a diner would do). I specifically told the waiter that I did not want the pork chop to be well done and dry, and he assured me it would be slightly pink but it was not. When he asked how the pork chop was, after my response, he didn 't even stop at the table to discuss it, he just sprinted by and said oh, sorry . When we told him about the oysters smelling and tasting bad, he offered us dessert free of charge, but we just wanted to inform the kitchen so they wouldn 't serve them to anyone else. The waiter 's response was that the other table loved them. Seafood should not smell bad and certainly not taste bad. In the end, the waiter took the price of the oysters off the bill and comped our drinks which was the decent thing to do, but the whole ordeal was very uncomfortable. He also did not return with our take home leftovers, which was ok, because as I 've said, the food was mediocre. But the place was cozy with a nice outdoor dining area, albeit noisy, so I would just stick with drinks and maybe small bites. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4
