The Upper Crust - Middleburg

My favorite spot for a quick breakfast sandwich in Middleburg. I can't resist grabbing an occasional cookie or pie on my way out. Everything I've tasted has made it increasingly challenging to choose just one for my next visit, so I often end up getting a few. The staff is consistently friendly and enjoyable to chat with.

Don’t miss the lightly iced Horse sugar cookie priced at just $1.35—what a steal! It’s baked to perfection, with a golden bottom, slightly crisp edges, and a soft center. The pies and croissants at Upper Crust are just as good as those from Le Cordon Bleu or your favorite aunt’s secret recipes. Middleburg is truly lucky to have such an excellent bakery. Make sure to grab a croissant; it’s an experience you won’t forget!

What a perfect little bakery!! Sandwiches all looked amazing and topped with homemade bread. I suggest the wheat! Though hopefully I?ll get to go back soon and try the rye! So big i only ate half. So many different types of pies, but get there early or you might miss out. But if you do still So many yummy treats!! I don?t know how they manage to do it all!!

This is definitely the best pie shop I've ever been to. I'm a huge fan of their Steeplechase bars, and the chocolate silk pie is simply divine. The pies are absolutely worth the price. It's such a charming little place!

We found the Upper Crust after we moved to this area several years ago. We have always enjoyed the sandwiches and baked goods. Today was a special treat we tried the Rosy O 'Grady pie. This fantastic pie is a perfect combination of Cherries, Blueberries, and Peaches with a perfect top and bottom crust. The next time you are in the Middleburg area, stop in and do yourself a favor and look for this pie on the pie table. If you 're lucky, we will not have bought the lastone and you can try it!! You won 't be disappointed!
