Dave's Diner - Middleborough

I've always loved their breakfast, especially the omelets. Over the three years we visited, I had countless delicious omelets there. Every time I compare omelets at other places, Dave's are consistently the best. However, during our last two visits for breakfast, my omelet was too dry, and the potatoes were nearly cold. I'm not sure what happened, but we were quite disappointed and decided to stop going. I wonder if they've hired a new cook. We love the classic 50s diner vibe, but sadly, we no longer enjoy dining at Dave's.

Today, July 5, 2018, my wife and I decided to have some diner food. Whenever we do, we always head to Dave's Diner in Middleborough. It's our go-to spot.

This restaurant offers the best dining experience around! The biscuits and gravy are unmatched.

I particularly love having breakfast out and have enjoyed many tasty omelets during our three years of visiting Dave's. I tend to order omelets whenever we dine out and compare them to each other, and Dave's were consistently among the best. I don't know if they were experimenting with a new cook or something else. We appreciate the 50's diner food and atmosphere, but sadly, Dave's no longer meets our expectations.

Usually, the meals take a little while to prepare, but this time, our meals hadn’t arrived by the time our waitress, Amy, came to check on us. Shortly after, the manager, Camille, approached our table to explain that another waitress had mistakenly taken our orders. She assured us that, due to the mix-up, our meals would be complimentary. We were pleasantly surprised by this gesture; in other restaurants, we had experienced long waits without any explanation. Camille's concern for our wait time made us feel valued as customers. If you’re ever in the mood for a fantastic breakfast or an awesome lunch or dinner, definitely visit Dave's. You won’t be disappointed. Thank you once again, Camille!
