Uncle Ray Kitchen - Middle Island

Thought I could trust the reviews but they have to be fake. The chicken hardly tasted like chicken and the pieces that did, were extremely hard. The rice was undercooked as well. I couldn't eat the entire meal at all. What a waste of money.

Have been coming here since Ray owned it. I was disappointed when he sold but the new owners have done a wonderful job of continuing Uncle Rays reputation. I would even say they've are better. Ever since they reopened after the pandemic their food has been brought up a few notches. The soups are delicious and plentiful, absolutely love the pork egg foo yong, and the General Tso's chicken. The vegetables are always fresh and crisp. A gem in Middle Island

Sesame chicken was dry and the rice had no flavor. Eggroll was fine.

The food across the board was absolutely delicious. Rangoon, dumpling, general tso, eggrolls, lo mein, everything.
