Very busy and we hadn't booked, nevertheless we had a great table for two. Food was very good, as was service and reasonably priced.

Although it's owned by a brewery (Hall & Woodhouse) it's really quite good.

An excellent, correct English pub. the interieur is a classic pub style and the food and drinks are exactly what they would like and expect from a pub.
