Not sure why such bad reviews? was a few times and eat well, renter is a little strange, but always was nice enough. try it. great service and good food every time.

Beautiful amount of local veg that is in season. next to fresh meat. good price for money

Bizarre landlady who obviously likes the sound of her own voice and is extremely overbearing and patronising to her staff who could do a much better job of running the pub than she does... If you read this please take note! Other than that the food was nice, bit pricey at £14 for a burger but it was pretty decent food. Decor was really nice the pub was in perfect condition and felt pretty special to be honest as did the location with a really good view across the blackdowns.
