Red Cove Cafe Marina - Mico

Got very rudely ask to leave by some guy on an atv. Wouldn't even let me walk down to the water. I was doing nothing wrong but trying to look at the lake. Put up keep out signs or something yall! or at least be nice!

Drove all the way from San Antonio to check out the lake and have lunch at this cafe. Checked Google maps and their Facebook page for posted hours. It was Saturday afternoon around 1-2pm and they were completely closed. Was only a weathered piece of posterboard in the window saying cafe is closed and looked like it had been there a while. Would be SUPER helpful if these hours were adjusted somewhere for out-of-town visitors to check before make an hour drive for nothing.

The cafe is not open at 530 on a Friday. This place is a run down ghost town

Grew-up going to Red Cove in the 60's and 70's. Sounds like it has turned into a tourist trap. $20 to launch? Guess money grows on tree's now. They had really good burgers then. They were about 75 cents, with chips. Too many people now I guess.

Really nice place with nice boat ramp and good food.
