During my last visit, I requested mild dishes but received spicy ones, so I appreciated that this time they got it right. However, the service could use some improvement. The waiter should dress more professionally, and the white seats definitely need to be cleaned.
We tried the Vegetable Samosa, Goat Biryani, and a combo lunch featuring Shrimp Moolie. The combo came with duck, rice, naan, and a portion of carrot halwa. Everything about our visit was fantastic! The table service was attentive, with drinks being refilled frequently, and the timing was spot on—our main courses arrived just after we finished our appetizer, creating a pleasant flow to the meal. I appreciated that the restaurant acknowledged dietary restrictions, as I cannot have milk. Both the owner and chef came by to welcome us, check if we were enjoying our meal, and thank us for coming. The food was superbly cooked and incredibly flavorful. The samosas had that comforting taste of a family recipe, while the goat in the biryani was incredibly tender. I had never tried shrimp moolie before, and it was a real treat! Typically, I'm cautious about creamy dishes due to the heavy use of cream and ghee, but this one featured a delicious coconut milk base. If you haven’t been here yet, you definitely need to give it a try. And if you’ve had a less-than-stellar experience in the past, I encourage you to visit again under the new management. I know I will certainly be coming back!
