BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse

I dared this place because my brother works here. When I entered, I bought a margarita to pass the time while I waited for him to come away. The spirits were so delicious that I was tempted and wanted to come back for the food. I came back two weeks later to have the cherry glazed salmon, asparagus and rice. I also tried the salted caramel cookie dessert. Everything was delicious. The salmon was tender and fell apart, it was juicy. The cherry glaze I was most enthusiastic about was not disappointed. The asparagus was roasted and perfectly cooked. I came back with another person the next day. I bought the varied appetizer board. I thought the avocado spring rolls were good, but it was an avocado overload. The avocado was creamy, but there was nothing to round out the creamy texture. The root beer-glazed chicken tenderers were my favorite. This root beer glaze is delicious. The Mozzarella cheese sticks were also delicious. I can't wait to go back to this place. The service was good, fast, fast and friendly. The food is delicious and the drinks are strong. My friend... could be your friend too!

I had a casual dinner with a colleague. Our server was very well brewed over the menu the many designs beers in the house. Kudos to the training of the BJ team. It was well reflected in this experience. Our server was not a joke when he said it was a large menu of over 100 foods. It is really a very large menu with a variety of American cuisine. I forget the specific name of what I ordered, but it was a Mahi-Mahi Shrimp-based dish in a broth. Excellent! Never had it like that before and it was a treat. My colleague from New Orleans ordered Jambalaya and explained positive things about it. Beer selection was just as good. I have appreciated the fact that they brew themselves, but do not limit the selection. You have many other traditional choices if you are not brewed in fresh beer directly on the property. And they sell a number of their beers for banishment. Overall, this experience was a very good with good food through very good food and a knowledgeable and friendly server that knew what he did. If I have a criticism, put yourself in the beers. A real beer drinker doesn't want a glass filled up without a head. That said this place is a winner!

This is my favorite place to go on every day. Waiting is never bad and the blonde ale craft beer is great. The salmon is perfect and the pizza is the best. I had every beer on Hahn and we like them all!!

Always good service and good food! I never had a bad meal here. Food is always hot and fresh. Will continue to return, check out their special events and beer pairings!

I don't understand the bad reviews. It ain't the French Laundry, but for Dayton, it's good. I've been a dozen times and have never had a bad meal. Wait times can be long because they get crowded because it doesn't suck.
