Table 55-hilton Miami/dadeland

The service and staff at this restaurant were exceptional, however, the food did not meet expectations. I was disappointed to find that my chicken entree lacked flavor and was tough, covered in a tasteless gravy. The side of root vegetables, including broccolini, was underwhelming. When I requested carrots and brussels sprouts without being cooked in fat, I received steamed vegetables that were bland. Despite being one of the few diners in the restaurant that evening, I am willing to give them another chance in hopes of improvements. Perhaps a new chef with better recipes and sourcing from a different farm may enhance the dining experience. Given its convenient location in my neighborhood, it would be a shame for this restaurant not to reach its full potential.

The restaurant was excellent, but we were disappointed to find that their menu did not match what was listed on their website. Unfortunately, they did not have fresh fish available. However, the breakfast options were delicious with a variety of choices, including cheese and smoked salmon.

The service and staff were excellent but unfortunately the food was not up to par. I did not experience the promised bursting with flavor farm to table taste difference. I was disappointed that my chicken entree was just a tough flattened breast covered with a gravy like tasteless demi glaze! The root veggie along with that was a blah brocollini. I then requested some other vegetables like carrots and brussels sprouts but I did not want them cooked with confit/fat so they just brought me steamed veggies which were very tasteless. I’ve made steamed vegetables at home that had so much more flavor than these. That evening we were practically the only ones dining in this place that has a rather large capacity. I might considering giving them time to get their act together and maybe get a new chef with better recipes along with a new farm and then going back on a later date. It is right in my neighborhood so it would be a shame if this place cannot improve.
