Shula's Grill - Miami

This restaurant has significant issues with getting food out in a timely manner. I witnessed three people pay for their meals and leave without receiving anything. I was in a similar situation myself with my flight boarding soon after I ordered a simple bowl of soup. They seem to struggle with multitasking, operating on one order at a time. The bartender could use some improvement as well; the Bloody Mary I ordered was overwhelmed with Worcestershire sauce, making it the only flavor that stood out. Your best bet would be to stick with beer or soda. Just be sure to give yourself plenty of time if you decide to visit.

My flight was delayed... as it often is in Miami... so I decided to stop by Shula's for a bite to eat. I ordered the turkey burger with sweet potato fries, and it was quite good. I also enjoyed two cold Coronas with my meal. Was it worth $51? Not really. But, as they say, when in Rome.

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. I was there for about an hour, and it was an unpleasant visit from start to finish. I understand that many places are understaffed these days, but a meal should be complete when it’s served. One of our burgers was supposed to come with sweet potato fries, but the waiter brought out all the other orders and said he would return shortly with the fries and some extra fries for the table. Unfortunately, we never saw him again. After finishing our meal, we went to the bar to find our waiter to settle the bill, and when we inquired about the fries, we were told they were complimentary and that he didn’t really need to give them to us. He then walked away without taking a moment to address our issue. It was very frustrating.

Well if you read my reviews I usually try to stay pretty positive. I had a Shula burger the only thing that was on there was barbecue sauce and bacon. It was a dollar extra for a salad I had to ask to be served. Now I never mind spending good money fora good food. With that being said the hamburger was dry and the hamburger bun was even dryer. I waited Shula?s in Chicagofantastic food this place really needs to step up its game.

My burger was burnt even though I requested the least cooked option via their online menu. The fries were soggy and seemed microwaved. Oh, they also add an 18% tip to every order automatically.. avoid.
