Original Big Tomato - Miami

My chicken Caesar salad had a strange fishy taste, and the croutons were burnt. Instead of discarding the burnt food, they serve it to customers who are already paying a premium through DoorDash?! I really can’t understand why my salad tasted fishy. This is completely unacceptable. This place used to be fantastic under the original owners, but today, I'm left feeling disgusted. Thankfully, the pizza was still good, but it’s hard to go wrong with pizza.

Something has changed about this place. It used to be great, but now the pizza is mostly just fluffy dough with very few toppings. They also send it in a box that's way too big, which doesn't keep it warm. I'm very disappointed.

It’s simply the best. Everything is fresh and of high quality, and this is a fantastic place. It always has been.

I ordered the mushroom brie soup, and even though it had been years since my last visit, it tasted exactly the same! I really appreciate the consistency. It comes with warm, flaky bread that complements it perfectly.

I dined here last night with a friend I'm visiting in Miami, who comes here often. The pizza is made from scratch, not frozen, and the toppings are fresh. I'm not usually a big pizza fan due to my job, but I gave it a try and ended up eating three slices of a six-slice pizza. I wish I had taken a photo! My friend always orders the Baja BBQ Chicken, and even though I'm not a BBQ person, I found it to be absolutely delicious! It's a small, family-run restaurant with limited seating, but the atmosphere is fantastic. If you're in the area, don't miss out on this place!
