First time here and I’m in Love with this place. Food is so delicious and service is great. I highly recommend this place
Meraki is a really cute spot in an interesting part of downtown. Truly a hidden gem, some would say. Pros:1. Service everyone was very smiley and kind!2. Ambiance we really did feel like we could have been abroad the decor is very cute3. Nice options on the wine listCons:1. The food.... unfortunately we didn't like anything we ordered. I was a vegetarian for a long time, but eat meat now, unless there are weird grisley/fatty portions of the meat. I had to spit out a few bites, which made my dining experience stressful. Overall, it's a cute vibe with friendly service. I would come back for a glass of wine, but skip the food next time.
Great Greek food! Hidden little gem I didn’t know was even there for years. Service was excellent. We got the meze sampler appetizer, pineapple salad, lamb chops, salmon, and seafood shared plate and everything was delicious. Definitely get the honey seasame cheese puffs as an appetizer or desert! Wine beer only. Would definitely go again! Inside got too loud because there were 2 large parties, but otherwise great atmosphere.
I 'm craving this food right now! I tried making the same stuff at home; while it was good, it wasn 't nearly as excellent as Meraki 's!We were in the Miami area (for the first time) to take a cruise. We arrived the night before via Amtrak. After 28 hours of snacks and subpar train food, we were famished. Meraki is around the corner from the hotel we stayed at, so it was ideal. Meraki is tucked away in the middle of mall, a ring of buildings with an open middle. The location allowed me to imagine I was in Greece! The wait staff was so welcoming and patient. They answered all of our questions about the dishes. We had grilled octopus with a chick pea salad. The octopus was cooked to perfection and was so tender! Then we had Mediterranean salad: tomatoes, cukes, olives, onion, paksimadi(Greek crouton), and feta. It was so fresh and flavorful. We had the trio of meats platter which had kebabs and pieces of chicken, bacon chicken, lamb, and pork with fries and fresh pita. Dessert was Nutella cheesecake and galaktoboureko. Meraki was the perfect, unforgettable start to our vacation! We will make sure to return for our next cruise!
