We were next in line but had to sit and wait for almost 30 minutes in the drive-thru. What kind of fast food service takes that long for a burger?

I visited this McDonald's on October 30, 2022, around 2 AM. I placed my order through the app for pickup at the drive-thru, but after waiting in line for 30 minutes without any cars moving, I decided to cancel my order and leave. When I got home two hours later, I received the receipt and discovered that my card had been charged. I attempted to request a refund through the McDonald's app, but none of the representatives could assist me. They provided me with the phone number for the Area Supervisor and suggested I call her. When I called to explain my situation, she hung up on me. I tried reaching her again, but my calls went straight to voicemail. The customer service was very disappointing, and I was unable to get a refund for my purchase.

I actually work at McDonald's. The kind of atmosphere that we try to give. Is a warm and welcoming environment. For you to feel comfortable to eat at this establishment. We the employee try to help the customers to spend less money with an expensive menu.
