An Indian may not be very impressed with this food as it is relatively cookie-cutter North Indian food. For the non-Indian, this food will do alright because, in general, you aren't going there expecting something specific. These types of Indian restaurants are akin to Chinese restaurants in that the items on the menu will always be the same. It's a shame that we Indians have to go up to Broward Co. to find the more authentic flavors that we have grown up with. To the reviewer who made the racist remark about Indians: your remark says more about you than it does about us.
I hate this House of India's food. I will never ever go there. Please don't waste your money.
Food was mediocre and the service sucked!!! The gentleman who wears in the turban seriously lacks customer service skills. This joker lacks skills to even work at Taco Bell yet alone a full dinning restaurant.
This was one of the most horrible experiences with Indian food. The food had all the colors but biriyani tasted like plain rice!! And Mutton was too hard to chew on cut!! Though the waiters were cool the owner with the turban seemed to be too careless to answer our questions. He does have an unfavorable attitude for this kind of business. Totally it was a disaster and it cost us dearly. If you want to taste good desi food and be treated well this is not the place you want to eat at!!
