Hometown Barbecue Miami

Currently in bed in the fetal position on the verge of tears. It’s hard describing the disgust I’m currently experiencing. Thankfully I ordered from DoorDash and I didn’t have to lie down on the floor of the actual restaurant from the traumatic experience. I’m not nauseous, there’s just an extreme feeling of something being wrong that’s piercing my soul. My stomach can tell what I ate(0.15oz brisket) wasn’t ever supposed to be edible to a human being. I only ate so much(0.15oz brisket) cause it was so expensive and I’m used to force feeding myself(thanks Bush) but this is the first time I had to come to a full stop.Please, I’m begging you, don’t make the mistake I just made. Just as I was about to hit post I realized how to describe the feeling: it’s like being suspicious you were just fed human meat. ??

Disappointed. Service on point. Food not worth $85. 1-2 Brisket and tips dry, burnt underwhelming. All sides small for reference on price. Queso Mac was exactly like the $1 Kraft box Mac cheese with a crunch on top, not it. Corn bread basic, but I must say the potato salad was bomb!!! Spicy lemony niceee. I won’t return neither recommend b/c I’m a local and am tired of all these hyped up Wynwood places just faking the hit! Sorry my opinion.

This barbecue restaurant is a true hidden gem. The meat was juicy and tender, with just the right amount of smoky flavor. The sides were also top-notch, with a variety of options that complemented the meat perfectly. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was laid-back and relaxed. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious barbecue experience that will leave you full and satisfied.

Decent barbecue but at a very high price for the quality we received, (nowadays everything is super expensive so it's expected). We ordered the brisket, pulled pork, mac cheese, beans, cornbread, and rib tips. Out of everything we ordered I was only really a fan of the brisket and the rib tips.Everything else seemed like it was lacking something not sure what. Beans needed extra seasoning, pulled pork needed seasoning and more crispiness (too wet), mac and cheese needed more cheese and to be cooked a touch longer. It was a good try and I'm not saying the food was horrible by any means but some adjustments definitely need to be made. The brisket though was phenomenal it didn't even need BBQ sauce. The rib tips were also amazing, highly recommend getting these if you stop by.Ambience was amazing, I love the decorations. Full bar and many cocktail options in a rustic feeling environment. Staff was very friendly and helpful.That being said, I'll give it another chance soon to try out other items from the menu and update the review as I go.

Giving 4 stars because I’m from Texas and I’m biased for Texas bbq. It was good though. The tacos were huge and the toppings were great. The tortillas tasted freshly made and the pulled pork and brisket were both tender and juicy. I also got one of their frozen house cocktails and it was so good. The beans were a great surprise I don’t really like sweet beans and these were very savory and so yummy.
