Donna Mare Trattoria - Miami

Visually beautiful. At first bite, the pasta is drenched in salt. The chef says the pasta is prepared with salt and any pasta we order will be salty and can?t remove the salt. Basically chef is saying don?t eat the pasta? What the hell? How is pasta already prepared in salt? I understand you boil pasta in salt..but that doesn?t make pasta salty. I don?t appreciate his response. He can just boil me new damn pasta and make my vongole!!!

This restaurant we will rate 5 stars all the way around food and service. First let me tell you the food was very great, my husband wanted oysters and seafood the whole time we were here in Miami, and they really gave him what he wanted? he said everything was scrumptious, delicious and on point. Myself I did like the food.. it is a little pricey.. Now I will like to speak on the service, we met Blake and Blake was hands on while we stayed at the hotel, he did great !!!! When it was my husband birthday, Blake and another staff member from the restaurant decorated the bed and breakfast nook for me then delivered it up to the room for me. So I want to say thank you to all the staff and a big thank you to Blake for going out your way with great hospitality.!!!!

If you keep an event, you should consider your culinary search as what they are, your culinary search. Wouldn't have put us in the middle of your event. Your event search is very loud and the event music was even worse than the quest. Recommend to your gastronomic guests that the event will interrupt your culinary pleasure! Great experience!!!!

Food was great! Beef Carpaccio was some of the best we had. There was a very generous amount of black truffles. The Chilean seabass were accompanied by shrimps, mussels, mussels and scallops in a delicious light sauce. Looked like a combination of Cioppino with sea bass. Husband had the specially braided short ribs, they were excellent. The service was also excellent. We consider ourselves food and we were very satisfied.

Excellent restaurant!!! Went for our anniversary dinner. Seated immediately. The menu was fantastic and the service was second to none. I told the Manager and server that I was totally impressed with the overall restaurant experience. Would strongly recommend to anyone visiting Miami Beach.
