The Alibi - Miami Beach

It's around 5 o'clock, and the ambiance is a bit lackluster. I’m willing to give it another shot, though.

And the tater tots? They are absolutely amazing! I will always choose tots over anything, except perhaps mashed potatoes—which can be a bit hit or miss depending on the dish, but let’s be honest, sometimes you just crave some buttery mashed potatoes. These tots were crispy, perfectly salted, and I’d call them ideal—if you’re unfamiliar with Plato’s philosophy of ideals, it's time to do some reading. Listen, I’m not a fan of South Beach, but Monday night is a great time for a visit. The restaurant is located inside 'Lost Weekend,' and for some reason, it doesn’t show up in Yelp searches—how bizarre! I will definitely be returning for my Philly fix!

I sat at the bar, and the smell of garbage was overwhelming. It seemed like they hadn’t cleaned the countertop where the bar mats are placed. I also noticed two drinks being served with bugs either in the drink or in the ice. They had pool tables and a few games, which was nice, but I definitely won't be returning.

Best bartender we 've encountered in a LONG time! Carlos serves the entire bar himself, which says a lot as it 's packed each night! He 's fast, his drinks are awesome he 's incredibly personable! He 's fair in his round the bar serving attitude. He 'll go in a circle around the bar, serving out-of-towners, as well as regulars, yet you never have to wait long for a drink. Fun atmosphere is a bonus! Drag night on Fridays is worth a trip to the Alibi too!
