Moshi Moshi South Beach - Miami Beach

Overall, the experience was decent. The shrimp shumai was plump and juicy, which I enjoyed. However, the black cod miso tacos fell a bit flat. The sushi rolls were just average. I chose this restaurant because they offered yakitori, but unfortunately, it wasn't authentic. This is a significant factor for me. The skewers were soy-soaked and lacked the bold flavor that true yakitori should have. We did enjoy a nice bottle of sake, though. Given its location, I feel the prices are a bit high for what you get. I do wish there were some authentic yakitori options in Miami Beach, but I understand that I might be in the minority when it comes to that preference.

The service was excellent, but the food was just average. The chicken in the stir-fry was overcooked and lacking flavor. On a positive note, the sushi was quite good. However, the music they played did not quite fit the vibe of the restaurant.

The food was enjoyable! We particularly liked the wagyu beef appetizer, which is served with a hot stone so you can cook the beef right at your table. The rolls were also quite tasty. For dessert, we shared the tempura ice cream, which was delightful. However, we did notice some issues: the table surface was sticky, one of the pillows was damp, and there were occasional drips coming from the ceiling.

The food taste and quality here is AWFUL, at least what I had. It's the kind of food you need to drown in sauces just to make it palatable. Not even the ginger tasted fresh. The spring roll I ordered was supposed to have snow crab, imitation crab, shrimp and avocado. It was 95% imitation crab, a half shrimp, a sliver of avocado and no snow crab whatsoever (pic included). The shrimp shumai I ordered was bad. I'll let the pic speak for itself. I ordered the mimo rollwith brown rice and they came back out to tell me they were out of brown rice (at 1:30pm).

This place was absolutely delicious. I'm not a big sushi person, but my fiancée and daughter is so that I chose an alternative. they got sushi and ice-dried soup, I got teriyaki chicken dish and we shared a large plate of chicken roast rice. the atmosphere was amazing, and great service.
