La Cloche - Metz

We booked a large group dinner here and possibly that had something to do with it. The staff were very nice and accommodating, especially to those in our group who spoke no French at all.We had the supreme of chicken followed by the volcano cakes. The supreme was definitely tough and overcooked and dry, the volcano cakes didn't run, they were also far overcooked. The ambiance in this resto is superb. Very muted and feels like a great place for a dinner. It's pretty compact. All the servers were very nice and patient and we all got what we asked for otherwise.I would try this place again as I think they just kept our meals under a heat lamp too long, but I would be wary. We had nearly the same meal elsewhere and it was done superbly. I would recommend this place for a drink and a snack, but based on this meal, I wouldn't recommend the kitchen.

A very central cozy restaurant in Metz with great food and nice staff. Fair prices. Highly recommented.

Excelent service and good food. A traditional menu presented with a smile. The quiche lorraine and the Cafè Gourmand were superb.

We had an excellent lunch here. Tasty plates, nice wines, friendly service. A small card but diverse. Highly recommended. Complimentary Mirabelle.
