Mettlacher Abtei-brau

I'm not a fan. Despite the beautiful surroundings and the crisp beautiful terrace I don't go anymore. the beer does not taste me at all (but it is tasteful), food is not edible at times and all very expensive. but if I look at the operation that prevails both in the house and on the terrace, I can only stand alone with this opinion. It's not mine!

Both in the restaurant and in the beer garden you sit wonderfully. fantastic food, also regional specialities from the Saarland. a beer from its own brewery and with a perfect price-performance ratio. We're coming back.

We were kindly received and have a table. We were two. The currently necessary application can be completed analogously on paper or via an app. The ordered dishes (gebrant blood sausage and mushroom carving) were served quickly and hot despite many other guests. No four star kitchens, but the dishes were delicious and the portions measured at the price quite large. Only when we pay, we had to wait a little because of the urge. All in all, a great place.
