Vegan poke bowl..so far just ok. Will be back to review their other vegan dishes. (past review) *Tonight's updated review: Went back for dinner here tonight but their vegan menu has still not improved much. I ordered the Superfood salad but had to ask them to remove the feta cheese and change the salad dressing to lemon juice with olive oil instead. The cold pressed juices, carrot pumpkin soup and hummus were good though. I do hope that they create more vegan options. Updated from previous review on 2022-09-07
Great dining room but only two vegan options for breakfast. Chia pudding was delicious and a generous serving. Wild mushroom on sourdough was ok, but lacking flavour. Plenty of smoothies available also
I got the vegan burger here and it was really delicious! Beautiful restaurant too.
The most disappointing restaurant I've ever been in my whole life. So, I was around High Street looking for a place for lunch that's new for me. So I'm just walking and then I saw Wholesome Table, which is like this organic & gluten free restaurant so I gave it a shot. I don't know what to order, so I ordered lasagna since it's like a "safe" order. It took them around 40 minutes to serve it to me. I mean I get it, the place is full and the waiters are rushing. But it's just a lasagna, it's not like beef Wellington or something. So I'm just okay with it. The problem is that the lasagna is overcooked, like it's obvious that they just heated it up. So basically I waited 40 minutes for a heated lasagna. Even the nice waiters and waitresses can't even save this disaster. I wanna tell them to redone it, but they took way too much of my time, I have an appointment after lunch so I ate it. It's really disappointing, I paid like 400+ for a burned lasagna. I wish I just chose another place since there's so much restaurants around High Street.
