Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Ambience: 4/5 Cleanliness: 4/5 Value for Money: 5/5 My all-time favorite Korean restaurant! Comfort food and it'open 24/7 pa! The price is super reasonable and their food is even better than those in South Korea, promise! Personal Fave: Osam Bulgogi and Sweet Potato Banchan
This is not the TV show. Now that we got that out of the way, let's get down to the food. While the place itself is quite small, it is not too noisy. That is plus points for me. Not only that, but diners don't have to worry about smelling like smoke afterwards as the meat is grilled outside by the employees and brought to the dining area. The biggest opportunity would have to be a designated seating area for people waiting for their turn. I think that if they had such an area, it would help retain expectant customers. For the food itself, we dined on banchan while waiting for our meat to finish grilling. This included a number of small dishes such as kimchi, bean sprouts, kimchi eggplant, fish cakes, tofu, and caramelized sweet potatoes. I prefer to set aside the last one so that it could serve as an impromptu dessert. For the meat we had Gochujang Chicken, Samgyupsal (sliced and grilled pork served with grilled garlic cloves), Chadolbaki (thinly sliced beef short plate that almost looks like ribbons), and Galbijjim (braised short rib stew). Other patrons may want to down their meat with bottles of alcohol, but I prefer to help myself to bowl after bowl of their moist and fluffy rice. It helps to lessen the greasy feeling in your mouth after you're done eating. If you're in the area, come look this place up. This is a nice place to satisfy a Korean food craving with a few friends.
