You can't go to DTF without trying their xiao long bao. But there are other good dishes as well, such as the crispy beef, hot prawn salad with mango and pineapple, and pork/chicken cutlet with fried rice. My kids love the latter so much that they asked for second and third servings! They also loved their kiddie plate and cup set.
DTF still has the crowd. Several months after it opened in High Street, it still has not satiated the appetite of the diners in BGC area. Be prepared to wait for at least 15 mins, be it for dinner or lunch. This time around, only 1 dish was not available when we ordered (spinach). Service was fast even when they said the dumplings will take about 12 mins or so. It came ahead of time. Service is fast and food. Staff are well trained. Worth visiting again. For sure
After having tried their branch at Megamall and hong kong, here we are at the fort.....as usual great place and the kids enjoyed the litle steps so they can see the cooking.....can't wait to go next week between 2 and 5 pm to try their all you can eat formula....it's my son's favourite restaurant
Great place to go for a late lunch with friends, with their afternoon promo of all u can eat Xiaolongbao. Which goes great with garlic fried rice and steam buns. All dishes in the menu were delicious though we didn't enjoy that much with the soy sauce vegetable wonton which we find to chewy and to salty when compared to the similar dish that was deep fried instead which was better. And it is also great to end the meal with the mango sago, with its sweet mango flavor and chewy sago balls. Although we didn't like that they added also a bit pomelo that made a bit of sourness when we were eating it.(looked pretty, taste bad)
