Great window dressings, interior decorations and displays. But you can still be hungry after getting your bill. The food portions here are rather smallish compared to other restaurants. The menu selections look and sound nice, taste is alright but for the price? Unless you fall in love with the decor, there's more for the eyes than stomach here.
One usually does not expect very good restaurants inside a hospital, but Bizu at St. Luke's Medical Center-Global City is an exception. Although the menu is heavy on pasta, it has some excellent main courses as well. The 10-hours roast beef is very tender and juicy, and the flavor is just right. The duck confit is excellent as well. If you like greens, the Waldorf salad is just great too. The only drawback is there is a limited choice of main courses for lunch or dinner, unless you are a pasta person. Service is quite attentive, although I agree with the previous reviewer that food preparation is kind of slow...
- they have a very long list of items in the menu however as a customer you may not really identify what would be their flagship offerings - Soup serving is quite small - Quite a long wait for the main course I ordered (baked rice) to think i visited way past lunchtime
Located in the St Luke's GC interior restaurant row, between the main building and the Medical Arts building. Across the breezeway from Via Mare, near an interior staircase. Had an Angus cheeseburger (P380). Tasty enough and filling. The pasta dishes looked tasty too, with good-sized portions. A bit pricier than Via Mare, but tastier food and with better service and better ambiance.
