The Venue Raleigh

Me and my family traveled from Richmond va a few times to have brunch at the venue... The venue is definitely a whole vibe.... If you haven't been you definitely missing out.....

All I can say is I drove 1hr to hang out and catch a quick vibe, arrived at 11am stood in line outside until 1:45p and did not get a table. Tons of people were skipping the line and moving up with friends. I paid $35 to stand up and didn't even get to eat one plate because the line was at mach turtle. I support black owned business so I will offer a positive suggestion. Give a 90 min timer on tables no matter what. Have someone go outside and sign people on a waiting list. Whoever comes later will go at the bottom of that list unless they have vip. If you are gonna advertise a $35 brunch, pls make sure your people can get at least one plate. Thank you! Love you all.

Very unorganized and chaotic. You have to stand in line for an hour to get in and then stand in line for another hour for the food, which isn't that good. They really need to get it together.

1. Golden Carrol will not lose a customer to this place.2. Some sections were given to the highest bitter, depending on who you knew.3. VIP friends of the staff can cut the food lines. Not an opinion, I was the one who questioned why somebody was being placed in front of me. After standing in the line for 3hrs, then waiting in the food line because of who I didn't know, wasn't ok but it's your business.4. The food was cold and fish was dry.5. The door staff and hype man woman (no disrespect), were definitely entertaining and gave off good vides.Overall, this visit was definitely disappointing in comparison to to our previous visit.

The food is OK but definitely not worth $35. The lady at the door is not pleasant or friendly. They do not have enough staff as far as waiters. If you don’t get there early enough, you will be standing up.We place orders for drinks with the dark skin, waiter gave Him our card, and he charge my card more than what the drink was last time and gave his self a tip. What he didn’t know is all transactions made with my card automatically comes to my phone. I went to the bar and spoke to the lady and she automatically knew who I was talking about so he’s probably done it more than once before . Watch your account because if he did it to me I’m pretty sure he’s done it before. Just beware. Crystal sets off the atmosphere if she’s not there it’s boring
