King Of Falafel

Came here at 8pm on 5/2. $21 later I got the steak bowl and falafel. $14 steak bowl came with a tiny scoop of rice and when he was portioning the steak shawarma you'd have thought I was taking it off his own personal plate...3-4 very small, old pieces of steak. My friend who got the chicken bowl, same treatment. The falafel tasted as if it had been fried earlier in the day and was then dropped back in the fryer before serving. I got the combo that comes with a dip/pita fries, only received the fries. I wanted so much to like this place and eat local but they made it quite difficult to ever want to return. $21 later I threw half it out and went to a taco truck. TBC, it was not the younger people working. It was the older guy who was awful.

I’ve been coming here for awhile now.I keep bringing new people with me and everyone loves it.Best falafel bowls I’ve ever had.It’s a must try for everyone.

Having walked the length of Leather Lane trying to decide what to have, we opted for falafel. Turned out to be a great choice! The queue was about 4-5 minutes but who can complain when the falafels are being freshly fried infant of you (NOT microwaved as some have said and the guy is chatting and smiling to all his customers. I went for the Falafel Haloumi wrap for £5 and it was huge. Plenty of filling and then it's wrapped, brushed with something (chilli oil? and put in a grill. Slightly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Perfect! King of Falafel? Until I find better, your crown is safe!!

I love falafel and salad and was anxious to try this version. It did not disappoint. Lots of cukes and tomatoes and numerous homemade falafel pieces. Hummus and sesame sauce included. Delicious. My husband had the Lebanese chicken over salad and loved it.
