I have been going to Imperial Garden for over five years now. The staff are so kind and check on you multiple times throughout the meal to refill drinks. The owner is very nice and she and I chat every time I am there. I usually get chicken lo mein w/o vegetables and fried won tons. I also really love their orange chicken. Their food is very inexpensive and comes in large portions. These both are a huge plus : I would definitely recommend this restaurant to the residents of Raleigh, NC and have brought many-a-friend here throughout the years. I will continue to visit Imperial Garden whenever I can and hope this review convinces others to try it as well :D
This place was great! The food was fresh and tastes Amazing!!! The staff here is very welcoming and respectful. The place looks very clean ??definitely returning! Highly recommend!
Old school suit down Chinese restaurant with the best service I've had anywhere in many years. A true gem.
Overall Rating: 4.9/10This dining venue offers a unique interior design but struggles with service and food execution, leaving room for improvement across various aspects of the dining experience.Atmosphere:The restaurant presents a unique layout with distinctive panda-themed tables that add character to the dine-in area. However, the front desk setup gives off more of a takeout vibe, which might confuse expectations for new visitors.Service: 3.4/10Service appeared overwhelmed despite a manageable crowd, indicating possible issues with staff efficiency or organization. The delivery of food was delayed, and the complimentary wonton shells provided were stale and unappealing, detracting significantly from the dining experience.Food:Appetizers: 4.9/10The appetizers were underwhelming, resembling the quality typically expected from takeout rather than dine-in. Nothing in the selection distinguished itself as particularly noteworthy.General Gau: 5.1/10The dish was competently prepared with good quality chicken but lacked a standout element to elevate it above average. The chicken was not as crispy as desired, and the inclusion of only green peppers was uninspired. Although the flavor was bold, it did not surpass expectations.Pork Fried Rice: 5.9/10A slightly above-average dish, it featured a generous mix of veggies and egg, enhancing the texture and flavor, though the pork itself lacked distinctiveness, blending too subtly into the background.Value: 5.7/10At $51 before tax for three people, including leftovers to take home, the meal provided reasonable value for money given the overall quality and quantity of food served.
